Life before, the French Revolution took place; it was a movement trying to change the political landscape but was only a mini riple creating tilde waves such as The Terror. This turning point involved execution of those who were against the Revolution as a punishment. Their heads would be placed on a board and as a metal blade dropped afterwards, slicing their heads; also known as the guillotine. The Terror attracted three main groups; the town people, public safety committee and foreigners. The town people were frightened of the thought of being guillotined. Because of the committee, they had to be aware of what they said. The public safety committee was in shock that such punishment was taking place. Foreigners were also scared from brutality shown on others.
