Between 1793 and 1794, France experienced the most deadly event of the French Revolution. A guillotine was set up at place de revolution in Paris. About an estimate of 40,000 people were executed. It was used as a method to stop those against the revolution, but instead, those who were given the power and control of the guillotine took things for granted. This event is a turning point history affecting the peoples thoughts about the revolution and execution. Affecting those who were involved and killed, and causing other events to occur.
